Career and Qualifications

• Born in 1956.
• Graduated from Tohoku University, School of Medicine in 1983.
• Specialized in cardiovascular surgery at Tokyo Women's Medical University Hospital after the graduation.
• From 1991 to 1994, built up the career in heart transplant surgery at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery of the University of California, San Diego.
• Returned to Tokyo Women's Medical University Hospital. In August, 2003, appointed chairman of Care Regency Corporation.
• In October, 2023, opened Roppongi Hills Clinic. Doctor of Medicine.
