これまで当院で接種できる帯状疱疹ワクチンは「商品名：ビケン® 生ワクチン」のみでしたが、「商品名：シングリックス® 不活化ワクチン」接種も開始となり、2種類の薬剤から選択することが可能になりました。

The shingles vaccine available at our hospital was “Biken® Live Vaccine” only in the past, but we have now started administering “Shingrix® Inactivated Vaccine,” making it possible to choose between two types of vaccines.

帯状疱疹について Shingles

多くの日本人が幼少期の水ぼうそうウイルスの感染により、帯状疱疹の原因となる水痘・帯状疱疹ウイルスが体内に潜んでいます。加齢や疲労で免疫力が低下すると体内のウイルスが再び活性化し帯状疱疹を発症しますv。特に50歳代からの発症率が高く、発症した場合は重い後遺症が残る場合もあります。帯状疱疹ワクチンを接種することで、帯状疱疹の発症や重症化を予防することができます。

Many Japanese people have the varicella-zoster virus, which causes shingles, dormant in their bodies due to infection with the chickenpox virus during childhood. As people age or become fatigued, their immune systems weaken, allowing the virus to reactivate and cause shingles. The incidence rate is particularly high among those in their 50's and older, and in some cases, severe complications may remain after the condition has resolved. Vaccination against shingles can help prevent the onset and severity of the condition.

【予約方法：完全予約制】 【Appointment only】

当院でのワクチン接種は全て「完全予約制」となります。 使用する薬剤は個人用に請求/保管を行うため、原則 治療決定後のキャンセルはできません。 ただし、体調等の理由でやむなく治療日を変更する場合、必ず前日までにご連絡ください。 *時間までにご連絡がない場合、接種料金を請求させていただきます。

All vaccinations at our clinic are by appointment only. As the drugs used are billed and stored for each individual, cancellations after appointments fixed are not possible in principle. However, if you need to change the date due to health reasons, please be sure to contact us by the day before. *If we do not hear from you by the deadline, we will charge you for the vaccination fee.

• 上記の説明/注意事項をお読みいただき、電話でご予約をお願いします。予約の際、ご希望のワクチン名をお申し出ください。
• 接種当日は必ず不織布マスクを着用の上、外来受付にお越しください。ご来院後、問診票をご記入いただき、医師による問診後にワクチン接種となります。
  *医師の問診後に接種しない結果となった場合、カウンセリング料金として3,300円（税込）がかかります。
• 接種後、2回目の予約をお取りします。1回目接種から2か月後～6ヶ月以内のご予定をご確認ください。
  *接種終了後30分程度は副反応の可能性を考慮し、クリニック周辺でお過ごしください。注射部位の痛み、赤み、腫れなどの副反応は通常3日間ほどで消失します。

• Please read the above instructions and precautions and make an appointment by phone. Please tell us the name of the vaccine you would like to have as well.
• On the day of vaccination, please be sure to wear a non-woven mask when you come to the outpatient reception. You will be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire and will be given the vaccine after being examined by a doctor.
  *If the doctor decides not to vaccinate you after the consultation, a counseling fee of 3,300 yen (tax incl.) will be charged.
• You will be scheduled for your second dose after the first vaccination. Please make sure to schedule it within two to six months of your first dose.
  *Please stay around the clinic for approximately 30 minutes after the vaccination for possible side effects. Side effects such as pain, redness, and swelling at the injection site usually disappear within 3 days.

よくあるご質問 Q&A FAQ

① 帯状疱疹ワクチン接種に適正な年齢を教えてください。

帯状疱疹予防のための接種として50歳以上を対象としております。
帯状疱疹は50代で40代の2倍発症し、高齢になるにつれ症状が重篤化することがわかっています。
どちらの薬剤も50代以上を対象として治験が行われていることもあり、50歳以下の接種で副反応出現した場合、救済制度が認定されない可能性もあります。

② 2種類のワクチン接種費用に大きく差があるのはなぜですか？

薬剤料の違いです。

③ 過去に帯状疱疹の罹患経験がありますが接種可能ですか？

接種可能です。ただし、現在罹患して症状がある場合には落ち着くまで接種は控えてください。

④ ビケン®を接種しましたが、シングリックス®の予防効果を知り、改めて接種を希望していますが接種可能ですか？

使用制限はありませんが、必要性もふまえ医師の判断が必要です。

⑤ 新型コロナウイルスワクチンを接種予定です、間隔はどのくらい必要ですか？

コロナウイルスワクチン接種後に最短2週間は間隔をあけてください。

⑥ インフルエンザワクチンを接種予定です、間隔はどのくらい必要ですか？

基本的にすぐ接種することが可能ですが、副反応が出現した場合に原因がわからなくなるので、余裕があれば1週間程度の間隔をあけることをご検討ください。

⑦ 接種の際に注意することはありますか？

37.5℃以上の発熱時や体調が悪い時の接種は避けて下さい。その際は接種予定前日までに当院に連絡の上、接種日をご変更ください。
無断キャンセルの場合、キャンセル料として接種料金をご負担いただきます。

⑧ 市区町村からの助成金はありますか？

お住まいの市区町村自治体で公費負担についてお問合せください。

① What is the appropriate age to receive the shingles vaccine?

Shingles vaccine is intended for people aged 50 and over .
Shingles is twice as common in people in their 50's as in their 40s, and symptoms become more severe with age.
Both vaccines have gone through the clinical trials in people aged 50 and over.   If side effects occur after vaccination by someone under 50, they may not be eligible for the relief program.

② Why is there such a big difference in the cost of the two types of vaccines?

It the difference in the medication costs.

③ I have had shingles in the past. Can I still get vaccinated?

Yes, you can.  However, if you are currently infected and  have some symptoms, please postpone the vaccination until recovering from it.

④ I have been vaccinated with Biken®, but now that I know about the preventive effects of Singrix®, I would like to be vaccinated again. Is that possible?

There are no restrictions on use, but a doctor's judgment is required for its necessity.

⑤ I already plan to have COVID-19 vaccination.  How long should I wait before shingles vaccination?

Please make sure to leave minimum 2 weeks after the COVID-19 vaccination.

⑥ I already plan to have flu vaccination.  How long should I wait before shingles vaccination?

Basically, it is possible to receive the vaccination immediately, but if side effects occur, it may be difficult to identify the cause. If possible, please consider waiting about a week before receiving the vaccination.

⑦ Is there anything that I should note for the vaccination?

Please do not get vaccination when you have a fever of 37.5℃ or more and/or feel sick.  Please call us by the day before your appointment to reschedule your appointment.
In the event of a no-show, you will be charged the vaccination fee as a cancellation fee.

⑧ Are there any subsidies available from municipalities?

Please inquire about public funding at your local municipal government office.

            

当院で肺炎予防のための予防接種（成人用肺炎球菌ワクチン）を受けることができます。肺炎球菌ワクチンは、肺炎球菌による肺炎などの感染症を予防し、重症化を防ぎます。

You can receive vaccinations (adult pneumococcal vaccine) for pneumonia prevention at our clinic. This vaccine works to prevent you from contracting pneumonia and other infectious diseases caused by penumococcus or from becoming severe.
